About the Project

Safe Places is a short term accommodation centre run by The Salvation Army Corps WA providing refuge to women & children from the local town and it's surrounding communities. The centre has been planned around a green space & playground with a yarning circle to create a sanctuary environment for community respite & healing.

The housing and administration buildings are all of modular construction, manufactured in Perth and transported to site for complexing. The centre is was formally opened in December 2024,  with doors opening in early 2025.
